Product description
KONUSTAR-11 is a quality compass that contains many useful options. The basis of everything is a completely metal body made of aluminum alloy. A liquid compass is built into the case, the inner space of which is filled with a special liquid, which contributes to the quick stabilization of the arrow. Inside the compass is a dial with phosphorescent markings that glow in the dark. The sight is installed on the body, the azimuths are plotted in two directions. The main dial has two scales: in degrees and in mils, with 2° and 40 mil graduations.
The compass has a hinged cover, into which a transparent lens with a range-measuring scale is inserted. It will allow you to determine the distance to the object using the table located on the base of the case. Between the compass and the top cover there is a folding inclinometer - a device that will allow you to determine the angle of inclination of various objects. The measurement range is from 0 to 90 degrees.
On one of the side parts of the case, a ruler with a length of 15 cm is drawn, on the other - a distance in meters on a scale of 1:25000 for determining distances on the map.
At the base there is a connector for mounting the compass on a tripod with a diameter of 1/4 inch. A bubble level is provided on the case for correct setting of the compass and obtaining accurate results.
A metal loop is attached to the KONUSTAR-11 case for attaching the compass and preventing its loss.
The compass can be used in closed form due to the presence of a hole with a lens through which the compass readings are visible.
