Product description
Konus KONUSNOVA-114 is a great option for a novice astronomer interested in observing all types of astronomical objects. The affordable telescope combines an exclusive design, an easy-to-use alt-azimuth mount, a sturdy adjustable metal tripod with an accessory tray, a collimator viewfinder, 2 Huygens glasses and a fairly large aperture, which gives space observation enthusiasts the opportunity to explore the Moon, planets of the Solar System, as well as observe nebulae, star clusters and other objects in deep space.
In addition to astronomical observations, the Newtonian telescope allows for terrestrial observations. The package includes a special adapter for a smartphone, which will allow you to take photos or videos of fascinating observations.
The 114 mm diameter mirror collects enough light (f/4.3) to form sharp images of objects in both the solar system and deep space. The 500 mm focal length provides a wide field of view and optimal magnification. The telescope comes with two eyepieces, H20 mm and H8 mm, which provide 25x and 62.5x magnification respectively. The robust 1.25-inch rail focuser is suitable for most common eyepieces and accessories.
The collimator viewfinder will make it easier to point the telescope directly at the object, as it allows you to see the target as it is visible to the naked eye. The reserve brightness of the red dot is enough to see it both at night and during the day.
The metal optical tube is equipped with high-quality mirrors. The tube itself is mounted on a height-adjustable metal tripod (78-121 cm) with an alt-azimuth mount, which allows for easy manual control.
